Whitefield Public School will have drop off and pick up procedures. The safety of our students is our number one priority. Please be patient with our staff as we navigate these changes. We have included a map to give you a visual of the route you will take each morning and afternoon. For the first days, we do realize parents and guardians will want to walk their child to classroom the first day, and preschool parents the first few days. We will enforce our policy requiring every visitor to check in at office. We will have a School Resource officer on school grounds during hours of operation. Thank you again for your cooperation! We are excited for the new year! Don’t forget about our back to school bash on Tuesday from 5-7 pm.

Whitefield Public Schools Welcomes Tracie Shearwood
Traci Shearwood over 30 years in teaching experience in k-8. The last 2 years I have been a College and Career Advisor for high school students. I am married to Marty Shearwood for 37 years. We have 3 sons, Chance Shearwood, Colton Shearwood, Cade Shearwood. We have 6 beautiful granddaughters. I am proud and excited to be a part of the Bobcat family!
Whitefield Public Schools Welcomes Jonathan Booth and Kristi Lokey as our new Administration team.
We are thrilled to announce that Jonathan Booth has been appointed as the new interim Superintendent and Kristi Lokey as the new Principal of Whitefield Public Schools. With a combined career spanning over 40 years in education and leadership, they bring a wealth of experience and a passion for fostering academic excellence.
Their leadership philosophy centers on inspiring a passion for learning, leadership, and service that prepares students to make a difference in their communities and beyond, while maintaining a safe environment with high expectations for learning. “ I am very appreciative of this opportunity. Whitefield is a tremendous place to educate your kids. We are committed to creating a learning environment where every student thrives,” says Superintendent Booth. “I look forward to collaborating with the community, students, families, and staff to achieve our shared goals and I absolutely cannot wait for the new school year,” says Mrs. Lokey.

Federal Programs Annual Meetings Whitefield Public School will conduct their Annual Title I and Title VI (Indian Education) Public and Parent Hearing/Federal Programs Meeting on Thursday, April 23rd at 3pm in the Whitefield School Library. The Title VI Parent Committee and JOM Parent Committee meetings will be held immediately following the public hearing. Tribal representatives, parents, and community members are welcome to attend.
